“Congratulations
My Gradates!” Mama Carol & Mama Sandi smiled as Nicki and drake took off
there gown, they thanked them with a smile their faces. Both mother’s very
proud of their children took pictures and celebrated with balloons and festive.
Even though,
it was a happy day for them it was bittersweet for Nicki and Aubrey today. Nicki
was going to college and Aubrey was going to the army forces. Nicki still didn’t
know how to handle the news that she received of drake joining the Army. He was her best friend; her everything and it
was really heart wrenching to know that he wasn’t going to be here in New York
with her for almost 4 years. Also she couldn’t get the idea of him getting hurt.
Drake felt the same; he had lots of concerns like what if she moves on? Or what
if she forgets about him. It really scared him, but this was something he
wanted to do since he was a little boy. Yea he was scared that something would
happen to him or his family while he was gone, but this was his dream was to
help people and serve his country.
“We did it!”
Nicki squealed jumping into drake’s arms and kissing him on the lips.
“I love
you” he smiled wrapping his strong arms around her waist.
“I Love
you too babe.” She giggled as he placed light kisses on her neck.
“Awww
look at you too!” Mama carol cooed as she snapped a picture of them.
“Sad
your leaving before the baby is born” She frowned patting drake’s shoulder. Nicki’s
smile dropped along with drakes. Nicki was pregnant and she was 8 months, being
a teen mother while in school was hard. But now that she’s going to be without
drake was going to be even harder … he was going to miss 4years of his son’s
life and she won’t have him there to help her.
“Sweetie
I didn’t mean to upset you.” Mama carol sighed as drake placed Nicki down.
“No, no you’re
okay ma ... I’m fine” Nicki confirmed wiping the stray tears that fell from her
eyes.
Mama
carol let out a deep sigh. She wasn’t too fond of drake’s decision on leaving,
she kind of thought he was being self-fish. She tried to change his mind but
there was no way of changing that boys mind. He had it all set.
“Is
everything okay?” Mama Sandi asked carrying a tray of food.
“Everything’s
fine ma” Drake said. Mama Sandi loved the fact that he wanted to help his country.
She loved the fact that he was joining the army... just like her father and his
father had done. Even though she wished he didn’t have to leave so early, she
was proud of her son either way. Especially about the graceful life that was
about to be born.
“Alright
well I figured you were hungry, so here’s some food.” She smiled walking out to
the party.
It
never really crossed drake’s mind
that he was leaving Nicki with a baby to take care of by herself, but he knew
he couldn’t go back on his decision now. He took a deep breath as he picked Nicki
up bridal style
and carried her up the stairs, holding her all night letting
her spill out all her emotions.

Nicki
Sobbed for the life of her clinging onto drake’s torso at the airport. She felt
like her heart was being ripped out of her chest and being placed on that air craft,
she didn’t want to let him go. Drake choked back tears as he held her tightly,
rethinking this whole decision for the 50th time. He didn’t want to
miss out on what was to come; he didn’t want to leave Nicki all by herself. He didn’t want to miss out on the birth of
his son, or his first birthday, or second, or third; fourth, His first day of
pre-school. Tears shimmered down his cheeks, quickly wiping them away he signed
deeply as the intercom spoke:
All marines
please board your aircraft; we are set to disport in 5minutes … 5minutes.
Nicki
sobbed harder squeezing him to death. Aubrey rubbed her belly feeling the kicks of their
son.
“Nicki I
Love you, Please know that I will always love you with all my heart.”
“I Love
you too.” She croaked
“Please
look at me nic .” She looked up at him hiccupping, trying to regain her breath.
“Write me,
send me pictures. Don’t forget about me. I Love you, and I don’t want you to
stress yourself out while I’m gone. I want you to take care of our son and be a
great mother. You understand?”
Nicki
nodded sniffing, he sighed kissing her forehead and taking his thumbs wiping
her tears. Getting on his knees he kissed her belly.
“I Love
you little man, take care of you mommy for me. Okay? I’ll see you soon.” Aubrey
smiled as he felt him kick.
Standing
back to his feet he brought Nicki into a long deep kiss. Skin being chewed on and pulled; lips being
tugged on and licked. Nicki smiled as he brought his lips to her neck giving her
raspberries, causing her to laugh out loud.
Aubrey
smiled “That’s what I was waiting to hear.” She giggled then sighed when the
intercom went off telling marines to board.
He tried
to take a step back, but Nicki wrapped her arms around his neck. “Nooooo please
don’t goo” she wined. He sighed shaking his head.
“Alright,
close your eyes.” she did as she was told.
“Now
gimmie kiss.” She placed her swollen lips on his and pecked his lips.
“Okay,
now count to ten.”
“Uh? Okay...1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9…10” And when she opened her eyes he was gone . \

Hey babe , today our little pumpkin decided to start crawling ! He's so cute with his boo-legged self . :) Is'nt crazy how fast he's growing up ?! It feels like he was just born and now our little lambchop is one !! He said dada today when he saw that picture you sent last week . He went CRAY-ZEEE . All i heard was "Da-da dadadadadadadad" haha . Ooh ! And i took this picture of him today he still likes to have those sink baths so you'll probably see that in this envolope . But i gotta go ! (He just woke up , sorry it's so short :\)
